Can't find the right words to promote your business, product or service? Don't worry, I'll find them for you!

The brief.
Boxers, tidy whities, Y-fronts, thongs, grandma grabbers or boyleg.

Briefs come in all different styles and sizes; some are big and bulky, others are scant and frilly - it all depends on the job. But one thing is for sure, whatever the style or size; it has to fit in all the right places.

So how do you know if the brief is a good fit? It's simple, the brief needs to contain a few essentials: the problem or opportunity, the audience, the communication channel, the tone, style and length, key messages, the call to action, the deadline and the budget. As you can see there's no room for pinching, riding up, chaffing or sagging in a brief because if there is, we're in for a rough ride. A good brief is the foundation to a great piece of writing.

By the way, going commando is not an option!

The write stuff
Once we've established a solid brief and all the relevant information has been collected, I'll start writing. Whether I'm starting from scratch or finessing existing material, I'll produce copy with both style and substance. It's a good thing I've got ten years of experience in marketing, communications and writing, otherwise, it's fair to say - you'd have zero confidence I could produce a polished piece of communication that's a genuine reflection of your business' personaity and professionalism. Plus, it's something I want you to be proud of too.

What can I add to your business communications? As a copywriter, my job is to craft original, relevant, accurate and engaging copy that achieves your communication goals. Ultimately, an informative piece doesn't have to be dull and dry; I'll make it persuasive and dynamic. And I'll provide structure and deliberate wordplay to a fun, light-hearted piece so it maintains professionalism and has maximum impact. I'll make sure the copy hits the spot, with the right amount of information and the right amount of punch.

Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines
Missing a deadline can be deadly! There's nothing worse than your boss, printers or agency hovering over your shoulder or tying up your phone line hounding you for copy that's now over due. Meeting the deadline is just as important as the copy itself - that's why I respect the deadline. Let's face it, there's no point producing outstanding copy if no one gets to read it. That being said, you don't want someone to belt out any old copy just to meet the deadline. It's all about quality and timeliness.

The devil's in the detail
Facts and figures are effective elements giving your piece of communication credibility. Likewise, terminology specific to your industry is essential when speaking with an authoritative voice. As much as I'll work in facts and figures and use industry terminology when writing your piece, I'll need your expert knowledge to ensure the detail in the communication is accurate - team work's great, isn't it.
